Joachim,

I am pretty sure this is the same as Bug #1159 in Bugzilla. It really needs
new code to fix (rather than a bug fix or further porting) due to the way
wxAUI handles bars. Whilst I agree it's a nice-to-have, it's more of a
wishlist entry than a bug.
