This probuably is of interest to the dev mailing list, so I've forwarded 
you e-mail to it.

Could you post a gdb backtrace (run XaraLX under gdb and then type 
backtrace when it seg. faults, in case you don't know how)? On a 
different architechure, I've seen the application report that it 
couldn't load the string table, and I wonder if this is the case with ppc.

There is no luck. svn source also got Segmentation fault.
