I don't think that any of us users of Xara Xtreme on Linux are in a position 
to complain about how much effort the Xara team are putting into the project. 
They have put an extraordinary amount of work into the port so far, and I'm 
pretty sure that if they only got a small fraction of that development effort 
back from the community they'd be willing to put more effort in again.

As ever with FLOSS projects, don't complain, roll your sleeves up and get 
stuck in! Anyone with issues about the closed source gdraw can help to get 
Cairo working instead.
